Works of Art. An Artist’s Journey- by Jerry "To capture their vision of the simple and ordinary..and express it in an Art Form"
Throughout the history of art, oceans and beaches have been an attraction for artists to stimulate their creative thoughts while studying the light, color and movements of the sea and sky. Many artists try to capture the typical sky lighting which is steady while they attempt to simulate the action of the sea in their works of art. The sounds of the ocean waves breaking on the beach and the view of the sea that appears to be endless allows the artist to expand their imagination to believe they can capture this phenomenon in whatever medium of art they choose.
Upcoming color changes- designers have already started to phase out light grays and shift to more neutral tones- softer warm whites, ivory or light wheat for wall paint. Painted kitchen cabinet colors are favoring blues, greens, reds, two tone-black-white, blue-white, green-white, soft shades earth tones, clay, pink, coral apricot, soft greens and many more are being featured in decorating magazines and model homes.
Coastal décor has become more popular in recent years and has really never goes out of style. The associated beach colors of beige, tan, aqua blues and seafoam greens are timeless choices and enhance the beachy feel of the sandy beaches and ocean waterfront landscapes. We choose to highlight these coastal color schemes in many of the room accessories and wall art items we design and make as we are inspired by coastal living ourselves.
